This place is 4km west of the city. It has large, quiet, spacious, rustic-themed
rooms and a two-floor dining hall with live music courtesy of a geezer
with a Casio keyboard. All maxitaxis and buses from Piatra Neamt to
Bicaz will stop here upon request. Lake Bâtca Doamnei is nearby,
where swimming is possible. Breakfast is not included, but the restaurant
does a fair priced spread.

A three-star option, 3km west of the city. The interior is overwhelmingly
blue (is this a country-wide trend?). There's a small, attached bar/restaurant.
Once your eyes have adjusted to the blue onslaught, the bright rooms
are actually quite decent, with soft beds, refrigerator and cable TV.
