Part villa, part morbid tourist attraction. The Ceausescus only slept
here for two nights, but the the hotel hung onto their ‘personal
effects’, which are apparently free for guest use. Additionally,
the villa has an unusual faded glory and an eerie ambience. Rooms are
achingly in need of renovation and bare, but clean. A sneak-peak at
the dated lobby is highly recommended.
