Satul Moldovenesc (Tel. +373 (0) 248 36 136), in the village of Hârtopul Mare, is 30km northeast of Chisinau (head towards Dubasari then north to Hârtopul Mare and follow the signs). This is a full-service complex in the middle of nature offering a dedicated regimen of rest and relaxation! Houses with one room (US$15-45) or two rooms (US$52) can be rented. Among the diversions on offer are the option to rent an island (yes, island) for $12 for a picnic, have a sauna, go horse riding and go swimming or fishing in one of the three lakes nearby.
